The Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library has two mobile hotspots to borrow for up to 14 days of access to a free and secure internet connection that is easy to use on a smartphone, laptop, tablet, and many other mobile devices.

The borrower must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea. A library card must be presented at the time of checkout and your library account is in good standing. Only one device per household. Hotspots must be returned inside the Library; do not return in any book drops. If you have any questions, please call the Library at 978-526-7711.

By checking out a hotspot you are agreeing to the rules and regulations in this lending agreement.

Wireless Hotspots

T-Mobile 4G LTE HotSpot.

Circulation: Circulates for 14 days. Pick up and return at Manchester-by-the-Sea Public library. Must be 18 to check out; 1 per household.

Kit Contains: 4G LTE data speed capability. Rechargeable battery and SIM card pre-loaded in the device.

Summary: A Wi-Fi hotspot is a device that allows you to connect up to 20 of your mobile-enabled devices (e.g. laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc.) to the internet. The hotspot is portable so you can connect your device almost wherever you go (for example: home, on the bus, in the park, etc.)
