The Manchester Library now has five extra mobile hotspots generously donated by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. These hotspots are available for patrons to borrow for up to 14 days of access to a free and secure internet connection that is easy to use on a smartphone, laptop, tablet, and many other mobile devices.

The borrower must be 18 years of age or older and registered in a Massachusetts library system. A library card must be presented at the time of checkout and your library account is in good standing. Only one device per household. If you have any questions, please call the Library at 978-526-7711.

Wireless Hotspots

Kit Contains: 1 mobile hotspot (0.51 x 4.13 x 2.63 cm.) with enclosed SIM card and battery, 1 wall plug for charging.

Summary: A Wi-Fi hotspot is a device that allows you to connect your mobile-enabled devices (e.g. laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc.) to the Internet. The hotspot is portable so you can connect your device almost wherever you go (for example: home, on the bus, in the park, etc.)
