  • Tuesday, Thursday 10 AM – 7 PM
  • Saturday 10 AM – 4 PM (September-June)
  • Sunday 1 – 4 PM (Seasonal)

The Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library will continue to offer curbside pickup during open hours for our patrons for the foreseeable future. 

  1. You can remotely request Library items through the Library’s Online Public Access Catalog, or call Library staff at 978-526-7711. If a staff member does not answer, please leave a message with your name, phone number, and a message letting staff know you would like to place a pickup order.
  2. Once your items become available you will be notified either electronically or by a Library staff member. You may then pick up your requests only during Library open hours.
  3. Once you are notified that your holds are available, arrive at the Library during open hours and park in front of the Children’s Room entrance on Church Street, adjacent to the Library. Your items will be in the cart on the landing by the door.
