Children have fun with summer reading at the library! Mark off your minutes, read with special stickers and attend library programs to win a Topsfield Fair prize pack as well as raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes like gardening tools for kids, kites, and more. Prize drawings will be done at the end of the program.
June 9 – August 8
Tween and Teens in grades 6-12 can log reading minutes and attend programs like teen and tween library takeovers and craft/maker events for chances to win Bravo gift certificates, Target gift certificates, Laughing Gull gift certificates, a summer fun beach bag with towel and sunglasses and of course a candy haul. Get your summer reading done early and earn a raffle ticket for every 5 days you read. Prize drawings will be done at the end of the program.
Summer Reading begins July 5
Summer reading isn’t just for kids. All ages can get in on the fun. The theme is “Plant a Seed, Read!” From July 5- September 26, Adults 18-118 are encouraged to share your book reviews, attend weekly painting sessions and monthly horticultural programs for chances to win a smart countertop garden, an indoor mushroom grow kit from Underground Mushroom Co., and a Cider Hill Farm Apple Picking Gift Certificate. Summer reading ends on Saturday, September 26 with a Good Neighbor Day Celebration and Joiner Fair.
