Come by the Library on Monday, July 10th at 6:30PM to meet the local author of the award winning novel Leaving Lucy Pear. Chosen as a must-read book by TIME Magazine, InStyle, and Good Housekeeping, her emotional novel focuses on the Prohibition era in Cape Ann and how two women from completely different lives become bound together by the daughter one of them had abandoned and the other one who had raised her.

Anna Solomon is the author of The Little Bride and a two-time winner of the Pushcart Prize. Her short fiction and essays have appeared in publications including The New York Times Magazine, Ploughshares, Slate, and MORE magazine.

She was born and raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and two children.
