State of the Coast: Future climate-driven risks and their solutions on the North Shore
Join the Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library and The Trustees of Reservations on Wednesday, September 29 (5:30-6:30pm) to hear from the lead author of the annual “State of the Coast” report. The inaugural State of the Coast report details many of the coastal challenges being faced by 13 coastal zone communities on the North Shore, as well as potential adaptation methods for the future. Join the discussion to ask questions, and see the latest modeling and data forecasts for local communities in the coming years.
The Trustees inaugural State of the Coast report was published in August 2020, exploring forecasted climate change impacts, current adaptation strategies, and future resilience opportunities on the North Shore. The second annual State of the Coast report was released in August 2021, following a similar format, and focused on Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and the Elizabeth Islands.
