*Cookbook Throwdown

Saturday, June 10 at 11:30 AM—12:30PM

The cookbook book club meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month, and we share recipes from a cookbook from off our library shelves. June’s pick is “Rodney Scott’s World of BBQ.” Just in time for the summer BBQ season. Try out some new faves in a smoker or on the grill.

Sign up for a recipe and check out the cookbook in the library or online and bring your dish to be sampled on Saturday, May 13th along with any utensils needed. Please call Maddy Willwerth at 978-526-7711 or email mwillwerth@manchesterpl.org if you have any questions.

Plant Swap

Saturday, June 17 at 10:30 AM—12:30PM

Have some spider plants that are ready to propagate? Buy an eight pack of flowers and only need six? Did you start 6 tomato plants from seed hoping only one would make it and now you have five extra? Why not swap the plants with your neighbors. Trade some spider plants for some aloe. Some zucchini for some tomatoes.

Library Doesn’t just Check Out Books

The MBTS Public Library has interesting items to check out just like books! Want to try the new pickle ball courts? Check out a pickle ball kit. Take advantage of these clear nights and use our telescope to search the cosmos. Check out a cornhole or tumbling timber lawn games for your next family get together. Side of your house need some TLC? Check out our pressure washer. Need a dedicated Wi-Fi connection for an important meeting? Put a Wi-Fi hotspot on hold. Visit manchesterpl.org to discover even more items added this summer.
