Freading

Freading is an ebook platform offering over 200,000 titles. There is no waiting to read a book because there are no hold queues. Over 600 new titles added each week. There are feature titles in 29 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, and French. There is a large collection of manga and graphic novels. The eBooks are read with Adobe Digital Editions. For your convenience, Freading offers a mobile app available for iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire.

This service is offered to Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library card holders. To begin, first register your library card number and PIN (usually, the last four digits of your phone number); second sign up using your email address and create a password. Once you have completed the sign-up process, you will receive a confirmation email; you can now sign in to Freading.
