On Saturday, June 22nd at 11 AM come by the library to enjoy a performance by living history actress Sheryl Faye as she brings to life the famous astronaut Sally Ride who became the first American woman in space in 1983. Faye acts out the events in Sally Ride’s life that detail how her insatiable curiosities in science helped her overcome gender discrimination to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming an astronaut. Sheryl Faye is a full-time actress, performing a variety of historical women in New England. She also writes and performs with StageCoach Improv and keeps busy working on films, television and theater throughout Boston and New York.
