JS Graustein, William O’Daly and Ben Moeller-Gaa

The Manchester Public Library is pleased to announce a special evening with Poets and Publishers on Thursday September 12, 2019 at 6:30 PM.  Joining us will be JS Graustein the editor in chief of Folded Word in Meredith, New Hampshire, William O’Daly, award winning poet and author, as well as Ben Moeller-Gaa, poet and recent winner of the Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Distinguished Book Award 2018. Each artist will read from their recent works and discuss their publishing experiences with Folded Word as well as in the literary world.

Folded Word is an all-volunteer press dedicated to exploring the world, one voice at a time, publishing chapbook-length manuscripts of poetry, fiction, and literary essay. They also publish single poems, short stories, and essays on their blog.

JS Graustein is is an ecologist by training, a poet by practice, and a publisher by accident. She is co-author of Water Ways with NEA Fellow William O’Daly, and is the calligrapher of numerous haiku collections. Her most recent calligraphy project, Wishbones by Ben Moeller-Gaa, won the Touchstone Distinguished Book Award 2018. She runs Folded Word, a Meredith-based micropress of ecolinguistic poetry and short prose. She also serves the Poetry Society of New Hampshire as the lead editor, designer, and typographer of its journal, The Poets’ Touchstone..
