It tells the true story of Mary Shepherd, or ‘Miss S.,’ an eccentric elderly woman who, in the early 1970′s, lived in a dilapidated van on English playwright Alan Bennett’s driveway in London for 15 years after Bennett befriended her and started to see the world through her eyes. The film stars Maggie Smith, Alex Jennings and Jim Boradbent. Bring your own drink, the Library will provide popcorn. This movie is rated PG-13 and anyone under 13 must have a parent or guardian fill out a permission slip available at the Library’s circulation desk.
