A true story of perseverance during the depression in Ipswich, MA.

Saturday, February 11, 10-1 - stop by the library and make an apple potpourri and pick up a copy of The Orchard.

Monday, March 6, 2006, 10:30 am for Preschoolers - Apple-ish Storytime to join the Manchester Reads theme.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, 6-8 PM - Memoir Writing Workshop with Edith Fenton.  No registration required.  

Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, 6-8 PM - Stretch Your Budget Cooking with Rosalee Harrington.  No registration required.

 

Tuesday, March 21, 7 PM, Louisa May Alcott visits!  The Alcott's had their own orchard, as actress Jan Turnquist will share in this program of living history.  Students, adults, and fans of Little Women, and Jo's Boys are invited to attend this presentation for grades K and up.  Ms Turnquist is the Director of The Orchard House in Concord, MA and has portrayed Louisa extensively on stage, screen, and in educational programs.  This free program is open to all.
