    Movie Night: Remember The Night

    December Movie Night

Come by the library to enjoy a classic black and white romantic comedy set during Christmastime in the 1940’s. Film star Barbara Stanwyck plays Lee Lander, a street-smart petty thief who is caught shoplifting during the holidays. Jack Sargent, the Assistant District Attorney assigned to prosecute her, has the trial postponed on a technicality to avoid her facing a sympathetic jury filled with Christmas cheer. A series of misadventures soon bring both Jack and Lee to Jack’s family home for Christmas where they await the upcoming trial, and with the help of the holiday spirit, unexpectedly fall in love. This movie stars Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray, Beulah Bondi. Bring your own drink, the Library will provide popcorn. Call the Library at 978-526-7711 to make a reservation.
