Dear Cape Ann Reads writers, artists, supporters and children’s picture book fans-

We’re readying for a wonderful celebration on January 27.

Gail McCarthy has continued her update series for Cape Ann Reads in today’s Gloucester Daily Times inspired by the wonderful Bruce J Anderson grant.  In addition to the Times, there are more listings including the Cape Ann Beacon, Good Morning Gloucester, Cape Ann Chamber weekly email and its current Soundings issue, Mayor Romeo Theken, and seArts have high lighted the upcoming Cape Ann Reads Celebration save the date notice. We are so grateful for their support. I’ve attached photographs and links below the signature for you to find, “like” and share easily.

Thanks so much to those of you who have responded with titles for The Book Store. How fantastic it is that they can set up a satellite pop up at City Hall on a Saturday! We have received more than 20 responses for The Book Store. (If you did not hear back yet, know that we are pulling the book title list together as fast as possible and will circulate a draft soon. We’re also working on the program.)

You can sell work if you are set up to do so just like any book or art fair. The libraries can’t sell for Cape Ann Reads–books, greeting cards, or art. Alice Gardner has 1 table remaining to loan. Please let us know if you have extra tables or easels, and keep the questions coming. This is definitely a kid friendly family event.
